Luvisa helps couples collect, organize, explain, and prepare relationship evidence for Partner visa applications. This Privacy Policy explains how Luvisa collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, mobile app, and related services.

Luvisa is an organization and document preparation tool. It is not a law firm, migration agency, government service, or legal advice provider.

Information we collect

Account information, such as your email address, name, password credentials, verification codes, profile details, and partner invitation details.
Relationship evidence that you choose to upload or create in Luvisa, including photos, screenshots, receipts, identity documents, witness materials, relationship statements, captions, dates, locations, categories, notes, and related files.
Profile images and optional role information, such as sponsor or applicant role details, where you choose to provide them.
Connected service information, such as Google Drive connection status and file information, if you choose to connect an external storage account.
Technical information, such as device type, app version, IP address, authentication session data, logs, and basic usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve Luvisa.

How we use information

To create and manage your account, authenticate you, and let you access your shared evidence workspace.
To store, organize, display, sync, export, and otherwise process the evidence and notes you add to Luvisa.
To support collaboration between invited partners in the same workspace.
To provide customer support, troubleshoot issues, prevent misuse, and keep the service secure.
To improve Luvisa, including reliability, usability, and features for evidence organization and document preparation.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

How we share information

With the partner or workspace members you invite, according to the access you grant in Luvisa.
With service providers who help us host, store, secure, analyze, email, or operate Luvisa, only as needed for those services.
With connected services, such as Google Drive, when you choose to connect or sync with those services.
If required by law, regulation, court order, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Luvisa, our users, or others.
In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Your choices and rights

You can choose what evidence and information you add to Luvisa.
You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account information by contacting us.
You can disconnect optional connected services where the app provides that control or by contacting us.
You should not upload information about another person unless you have the right or permission to do so.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Luvisa, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service. If you request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify your information unless we need to retain it for legitimate legal, security, backup, or operational reasons.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a strong password and keep your account credentials private.

International processing

Luvisa and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different privacy laws from your location.

Children

Luvisa is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as by updating the effective date or providing an in-app or website notice.
